The goal of all yoga classes is to stretch and energize the body through asana, breath, and deep relaxation, preparing us for sitting in a comfortable, straight, steady posture for deep meditation. Students are given help to develop their own personal home yoga practices. |

Various yoga practices and techniques will develop skills that * open, align, and strengthen the body * free up, calm, and stabilize the breath * create deep relaxation * develop and deepen one’s meditation practice |

All Classes C |
|
For persons * who are new to yoga * who have not been practicing yoga for awhile * who want to release stress in themselves and life, and * who have health challenges I Includes *breath-to-movement routines *restorative and easy postures (asana), *breathwork * relaxation techniques, *visualizations and *beginning meditation. |

Beginners Classes |
|
For persons who have been practicing yoga for some time and are ready to deepen their experience. Includes *review of beginners’ practices *developing a personal home practice *developing outer and inner stillness and creative potential *delving into the extensive philosophy, physiology, and psychology of the yogic tradition and *experiencing self and Self. |

Ongoing Classes |
