Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR)

The practice of yoga asana is for opening, aligning, elongating, and stabilizing the body with the goal to sense and move energy and to be able to sit in stillness for meditation sessions.

 

As a companion practice to asana, Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) is

an effective technique to help the body to open, elongate, and align more quickly than yoga postures alone.

 

Using different sized, specially designed YBR balls, we use various routines that match the body’s logic and order to:

             *stretch and re-educate muscles

             *stimulate bones

             *dislodge tension and discomfort

             *create suppleness in tight areas

             *optimize range of motion of joints

             *increase blood flow and promote healing

 

 

YBR is a self-empowering technique for personal bodywork that one can adapt to one’s specific needs.

YBR has received respect from chiropractors, physical therapists, Yoga instructors, Pilates and Gyrotonic instructors, massage therapists, bodyworkers, fitness instructors, and dance teachers, along with professional athletes and dancers. It is offered as therapy at the Canyon Ranch Spas in the USA.
